Building a wooden house in the Azores islands is really a practical solution. Its cost effective, pretty fast to erect and very comfortable to live in this moderate tropical climate. Our concept is to build from local materials, as in most islands importing of building materials is costly, Secondly ,if any repairs or any extension are done later. Then you would have to repeat the importing process for your materials again. Our goal is to provide a wooden home which is a practical holiday home solution. But everybody has different budgets of course. So we have decided to create 3 basic options. See our option menu for prices and basic sizes, which are based on 2012 pricing.

  • We prefer to offer you a few options in regards to materials and finishing’s. This is to mix costing and the overall creative appeal .and capture a traditional mixed volcanic stone wood effect, but fill in the large areas with water proof dry wall solutions. .

  • Wooden Home Exterior Design  
  • This could be a tongue and grooved wood  panelled house, or a plywood sheeted home which is lot more costly in the Azores. However if you prefer the house still to look like an blocked built house. An exterior block polyester foam can be applied to house, then created over to colour of your choice.
  • This could be maintenance free for about 10 to 20 years. Which also creates extra installation too?
